Senior RFP Writer - Frankfurt

We are seeking an experienced RFP professional to join our Marketing & Sales department in Frankfurt. The RFP Team is responsible for preparing high-quality, client-focused responses to Requests for Proposals (RFPs), Requests for Information (RFIs), Due Diligence Questionnaires (DDQs), Consultant Databases (CDBs) and other ad hoc requests relating to Lazard’s investment strategies. 

This role will involve close collaboration with our RFP teams in New York and London, as well as colleagues across Sales, Marketing, Portfolio Management and other departments. The successful candidate will have a strong understanding of capital markets and investment products, excellent communication skills in both English and German, and the ability to manage complex projects under tight deadlines. 

We’ll trust you to:

  • Produce high quality, client-centric RFPs and RFIs for new business within agreed timeframes
  • Be responsible for the RFP process from start to submission.
  • Work in close cooperation with global RFP colleagues.
  • Develop deep understanding on assigned firm strategies and work closely with client portfolio managers to master all aspects of the products’ features 
  • Handle internal requests from Sales & Marketing teams.
  • Act as primary contact for inquiries from other Lazard offices, particularly regarding European Fixed Income strategies.
  • Maintain and update entries in consultant databases, including adding new products.
  • Support the global Consultant Relationship network through information sharing and relationship management.
  • Gather and compile new information for Consultant Relation Services.
  • Build and maintain excellent working relationships with all internal clients, including institutional and wholesale Sales; Client and Consultant Relations; Portfolio Management; Risk Management; Trading; Legal and Compliance; Operations and HR teams.
  • Ensure all materials are produced in line with Lazard’s procedures and compliance requirements.

You’ll need to have:

  • University degree in Economics, Business Administration or a related field.
  • At least 3 years' as an RFP Writer or in a similar role within the asset management or financial services industry.
  • Strong knowledge of investment processes and terminology across asset classes, particularly fixed income.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in both English and German.
  • High level of analytical thinking and numerical accuracy.
  • Strong interest in capital markets and investment topics.
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
