Lazard is looking for a Network Engineer to join its Global IT Infrastructure team. The individual will provide and maintain functional and secure networks for the enterprise. The role requires in-depth knowledge of cloud and traditional network architecture as well as administration of network and security operations. The Network Engineer is a key contributor to architecting and implementing system solutions to support company initiatives. This is a “hands-on” role.

You’ll be joining a diverse, high-energy team that thrives in a fast-paced environment and work with experienced professionals across DevOps, Cloud, Info-sec, Windows and Linux teams from around the world. 

We'll trust you to:

• Manage administration of enterprise and cloud networks in Azure and/or AWS
• Provide network system/ architecture design expertise as required
• Perform maintenance, system upgrades, troubleshooting, and modifications
• Support L2-L3 trouble tickets, projects, and process re-engineering efforts
• Support enterprise disaster recovery planning and testing
• Perform technical research to ensure that network is secure, highly reliable, performs well, is cost effective, and meets the needs of Lazard

You’ll need to have:

• Hands on Cloud Networking experience (AWS and/or Azure)
• 2+ year of Understanding of TCP/IP networking
• 2+ years of experience with Linux and Windows system
• Terraform experience is desirable
• Knowledge of CI/CD Pipeline is desirable
• Skilled at working in tandem with a team of engineers, or alone as required
• Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills
• 2+ years of experience in designing and managing cross site/global network infrastructure
• Excellent customer service, teamwork, and communication skills
• Outstanding network, wireless, security and engineering/architecture skills
• Experience with network diagnostic, monitoring and analysis tools

We expect the base salary range for this role to be approximately $160,000 - $185,000. Various factors contribute to determining the actual base compensation offered, including but not limited to the applicant’s years of relevant experience, career tenure, qualifications, level of education attained, certifications or other professional licenses held, relevant skills for the role, and if applicable, the location in which the applicant lives and/or from which they will be performing the job. Base salary is one component of Lazard Corporate’s compensation package, which also includes comprehensive benefits and may include incentive compensation.
