In this role, you will lead an application development team the Corporate IT group. You will be working closely with business and/or operation leads to solve business problems.

The candidate should have the ability and skillset to assist with all aspects of the technology stack across a variety of corporate business applications.  

We’ll trust you to:

• Work within the standard technologies established by the Corporate application development team to build custom applications and/or supplement vendor systems.
• Lead in all facets of the SDLC lifecycle - design, develop, test, deploy and support/enhance corporate applications.
• Manage priorities, deadlines, and deliverables
• Be responsible for server-side and client-side feature work across varied browser-based UIs
• Contribute towards creating best practice web experiences
• Collaborate with the Corp IT application architecture team in enhancing the standard framework
• Collaborate with other IT teams to deliver and enhance applications.
• Create coding standards and manage SDLC processes for team continuity
• Provide guidance for the team in complex tasks
• Incorporate Lazard security (best) practices is all facets of an application.
• Apply Agile methodology including Sprint Planning, Daily Stand-up, Iteration Review and Retrospective Evaluation
• Produce detailed data model of a database, including all necessary logical and physical design element

You’ll need to have:

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience
• Experience in designing & building UI using Angular and integrating with complex backend systems
• Experience in JavaScript and other programming languages
• Good understanding of latest web standards including HTML and building complex and responsive layouts using CSS
• Understanding of varied HTML, CSS, and JavaScript implementations can be across competing browsers
• Experience with the Cloud platforms. Specifically, AWS & AZURE
• Experience in any of the following: web/mobile application development, distributed/parallel systems, data structures, systems/security software development, CI/CD pipelines and automation, NodeJS
• Experience with PowerBI a plus
• Ideas, opinions, and the ability to share them through respectful proposals, presentations, and team-wide discussions, an eagerness to work and learn in the open and share your learnings with your teammates
• Cloud application development experience
• Cyber Security concepts knowledge
• Enterprise Content Management System expertise a plus

We expect the base salary range for this role to be approximately $160,000 - $175,000. Various factors contribute to determining the actual base compensation offered, including but not limited to the applicant’s years of relevant experience, career tenure, qualifications, level of education attained, certifications or other professional licenses held, relevant skills for the role, and if applicable, the location in which the applicant lives and/or from which they will be performing the job. Base salary is one component of Lazard Corporate’s compensation package, which also includes comprehensive benefits and may include incentive compensation.
