We're looking for a highly motivated individual to join our Canadian Client Group, as a Client Account Manager to help support our Canadian client business. This is an exciting and dynamic role that will position you to be aligned with the broader Sales and Marketing team to manage the servicing side of our client relationships. You will work lock and step with the business development side of the Sales and Marketing team, as a valued member of the firm’s success.

 

We’ll trust you to:

  • Primarily focus on the Canadian marketplace
  • Coordinate with various internal stakeholders for client account onboardings to ensure timely, compliant, and successful onboarding of new clients
  • Maintain integrity of client portfolios throughout their life-cycle, in partnership with internal stakeholders – including flow coordination, fee changes, guideline updates, reporting items and other ad hoc requests that may come in
  • Deliver recurring reporting deliverables to clients by specified due dates, as well as timely and additive service updates as it pertains to their investment
  • Actively work with advisors, custodians and other 3rd parties to facilitate material changes to accounts
  • Centralize workflow operations and streamline data collection and distribution processes

  

You’ll need to have:

  • Bachelor's or advanced degree  
  • French language skills preferred
  • 2 to 4 years of experience working in a client service function within Financial Services OR 3-7 years of experience working in a client service role within Financial Services
  • Asset management operations experience, with additional exposure to relationship management, as it relates to client retention
  • Experience working with Business Process Management software and Client Relationship Management systems, such as Appian and Salesforce
  • In-depth knowledge of managing client expectations with account onboardings for various types of investment accounts (Separately Managed, Commingled Vehicles etc.,) and investment strategies (Equities, Fixed Income, Alternative Investments etc.,.)
  • Keen attention to detail with the ability to prioritize for various different projects

We expect the base salary range for this role to be approximately $95,000 – 125,000 USD. Various factors contribute to determining the actual base compensation offered, including but not limited to the applicant’s years of relevant experience, career tenure, qualifications, level of education attained, certifications or other professional licenses held, relevant skills for the role. Base salary is one component of Lazard Asset Management’s compensation package, which also includes comprehensive benefits and may include incentive compensation.
