Lazard Family Office Partners collaborates with our clients to help solve and simplify the complexities of wealth, while delivering sophisticated investment solutions and advice.  We combine years of history and experience to help preserve and grow our clients’ wealth across generations. In this role, you’ll be responsible for cultivating and owning the relationship with clients, helping to navigate and address all of their investing needs.  You will oversee client portfolio management and collaborate with internal Investment and Operations teams to provide the very best support and advice.  


We’ll trust you to:

  • Actively nurture and deepen strong rapport with clients to win confidence, establish mutual trust and gain intimate knowledge of their lives to be able to anticipate their needs; act as their trusted advisor
  • Proactively identify, communicate, and solve clients’ questions
  • Leverage internal and external resources on behalf of clients; steer client needs to completion through the organization and partner with external contacts as needed
  • Proactively own projects related to existing and prospective client relationships, including onboarding and transition management
  • Partner with Investment team to develop, execute, monitor and analyze a client’s investments, allocation, tracking and planning
  • Stay abreast of and communicate market shifts and investing strategies, new investment opportunities, statutory requirements, tax laws, etc.
  • Leverage and coordinate specialists and advisors to provide interdisciplinary expertise for client needs
  • Proactively own and execute projects and logistics related to client portfolios including all areas of client’s wealth profile across investment management, wealth transfer, tax planning and insurance
  • Work closely with Investment Team to develop an overall investment strategy based on the client’s risk/reward profile, objectives, and tax status; determining appropriate asset allocation and portfolio construction; and advising on concentrated stock positions, low-cost basis holdings and potential diversification strategies



You’ll need to have:

  • Minimum of 10 years of relevant work experience
  • Extensive experience working with ultra high-net-worth clients on their investment and wealth management goals
  • Strong communication skills and experience being the trusted advisor to our clients
  • Working knowledge of capital markets and a detailed understanding of alternative investment strategies
  • Strong business development skills, including experience building relationships with prospective high-net-worth clients to identify their needs and successfully transition them into the firm
  • Ability to work in a team-based environment and to become an integral part of existing client relationship teams
  • Highly motivated, extremely ethical, and professionally mature
  • Analytical thinking, strong communication skills, creativity, intellectual curiosity and resourcefulness
  • Attention to detail, strong work ethic, and a self-starter
  • Experience with performance reporting and portfolio analysis

We expect the base salary range for this role to be approximately 170-200K USD. Various factors contribute to determining the actual base compensation offered, including but not limited to the applicant’s years of relevant experience, career tenure, qualifications, level of education attained, certifications or other professional licenses held, relevant skills for the role. Base salary is one component of Lazard Asset Management’s compensation package, which also includes comprehensive benefits and may include incentive compensation.
