Our Consultant Relations team is responsible partnering with Global, Multi-Regional and Local Institutional Investment Consultants.  Our global team comprises 22 individuals who are organized regionally and service the unique requirements of the consultant community and help navigate our organization and investment offerings. As a valued member of our team, you’ll be responsible for supporting requests from institutional investment consultants, both ad hoc and regular quarterly communication, as it pertains to existing clients and new business opportunities. 

 

We’ll trust you to:

 

  • Work as part of a team within a defined geographical territory to help cultivate and manage relationships with Investment Consultants
  • Ensure timely response to Investment Consultant inquiries and provide ongoing communication, including the compilation and distribution information on Lazard investment strategies
  • Onboard new clients by coordinating account setup with internal and external investment, legal and operational contacts
  • Populate and maintain Salesforce to assist external sales partners with territory management
  • Assist with managing territory’s pipeline and new business development
  • Contribute to the overall sales process by identifying opportunities to promote Lazard’s products and services through different digital, print and in-person marketing efforts

 

You’ll need to have:

 

  • A passion for exploring and understanding the asset management industry
  • A desire to work in a high-energy environment with dedication to excellence
  • The ability to work as a great teammate, collaborate across businesses, and contribute individually
  • One or more years of experience at an asset management or wealth management firm, Institutional client service experience is preferred
  • A proven record of academic achievement, preferably with a concentration in Finance, Business Administration, or Marketing
  • Strong quantitative and qualitative reasoning ability, with the capacity to understand inner workings of investment strategies and represent them in appropriate detail to an audience
  • A self-starter mindset with strong attention to detail and follow-through
  • A proven ability to multi-task
  • Excellent writing/editing skills
  • Strong verbal communications skills and comfort engaging all levels of firm management
  • Series 7 & 66 are preferred, but not required. Once hired, Series 7, 66, and 31 must be obtained within 4 months

We expect the base salary range for this role to be approximately $80,000 – 100,000 USD. Various factors contribute to determining the actual base compensation offered, including but not limited to the applicant’s years of relevant experience, career tenure, qualifications, level of education attained, certifications or other professional licenses held, relevant skills for the role. Base salary is one component of Lazard Asset Management’s compensation package, which also includes comprehensive benefits and may include incentive compensation.
