We are looking for a highly-motivated, detail-oriented professional to join our Global Convertibles Portfolio Management team.
We'll trust you to:
- Assist in the daily management and monitoring of Global Convertibles portfolios, ensuring compliance with investment guidelines and risk parameters.
- Conduct research and analysis on various convertibles bonds issuers across regions and sectors, or ad-hoc macro research.
- Collaborate with senior portfolio managers and analysts to develop and implement investment strategies and recommendations.
- Utilize programming skills to help improve and automize analytics and investment processes.
- Prepare and present regular reports and presentations on portfolio performance, market updates, and investment recommendations to internal stakeholders.
- Develop presentation skills to be able to present to existing or prospective investors in the US and internationally.
- Participate in ongoing professional development and training programs to enhance knowledge and skills related to fixed income / fundamental analysis / quantitative analysis.
- Assist the team with additional ad hoc projects and specific client requests as needed.
You'll need to have:
- A Bachelor's degree in Economics, Finance or related discipline.
- 1-3 years of relevant experience in fixed income analysis and/or portfolio management.
- Intellectual curiosity and a proactive approach to learning.
- Ability to adapt and anticipate changing needs with a can-do attitude.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and critical thinking skills. Detail-orientation.
- High proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Power Point, and Bloomberg.
- Ability to take initiative and work collaboratively.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Passion for fixed income investing and a strong desire to learn and grow within the industry.

We expect the base salary range for this role to be approximately $95,000 - $115,000 USD. Various factors contribute to determining the actual base compensation offered, including but not limited to the applicant’s years of relevant experience, career tenure, qualifications, level of education attained, certifications or other professional licenses held, relevant skills for the role. Base salary is one component of Lazard Asset Management’s compensation package, which also includes comprehensive benefits and may include incentive compensation.
