Lazard is seeking an Experienced Analyst (1+ year of investment banking experience at the Analyst level) to join the San Francisco Healthcare team as an integral member of focused deal teams who will receive meaningful exposure to both senior bankers and client executives alike. Healthcare Analysts in the San Francisco office work on a variety of strategic transactions for industry-leading and emerging companies across the entire pharmaceutical, biotechnology, and life science tools & diagnostics sectors. The San Francisco-based team is a pillar of Lazard’s global healthcare group and leads the coverage and execution of transactions for companies across the U.S.

We’ll trust you to:
- Build and run comprehensive financial models and conduct a wide range of financial analyses
- Effectively analyze, evaluate, and synthesize information
- Perform company and industry research
- Assist in the preparation of client presentations and marketing materials
- Interact with senior bankers and clients
You’ll need to have:
- One year of relevant investment banking experience with significant exposure to M&A
- Strong analytical skills with extensive training in the building of presentation materials and financial modelling
- Meticulous attention to detail and outstanding standards of accuracy
- High level of responsiveness with a strong work ethic and commitment to maintaining top quality work products
- A team player mindset with an ability to work seamlessly as part of a close-knit team
- Stellar interpersonal skills and ability to effectively communicate with both deal teams and external clients
- Strong ability to multi-task and manage concurrent projects and deliverables
- Proven academic excellence and high degree of intellectual curiosity

We expect the base salary range for this role to be approximately $120,000 - $125,000 USD. Various factors contribute to determining the actual base compensation offered, including but not limited to the applicant’s years of relevant experience, career tenure, qualifications, level of education attained, certifications or other professional licenses held, and relevant skills for the role. Base salary is one component of Lazard Financial Advisory’s compensation package, which also includes comprehensive benefits and may include incentive compensation.
