Lazard Madrid was established in 1999, solidifying Lazard's franchise as a preeminent financial advisor to blue chip companies in Spain. Today, the firm is at the forefront of the Spanish economy. Our team is comprised of 20 professionals and is a leading financial advisor to major corporations, families and financial institutions.

In Spain, our Associates work spans multiple sectors/industries as a generalist while offering the possibility to develop a coverage expertise on variety of sectors/products over time. Associates play a role in the origination and execution of Mergers & Acquisitions, Restructuring, ECM and Debt Advisory deals for Spain and European-based clients. You will have the opportunity to gain exposure and responsibility since day one.

We’ll trust you to:

  • Perform financial analyses and create models
  • Prepare and create client presentations and marketing materials
  • Work with senior bankers running a transaction on a day-to-day basis
  • Coordinate with clients and advisors to ensure the progress of key work-streams
  • Manage deal processes
  • Provide guidance to and support Analysts

You’ll need to have:

  • At least 3+ years of Investment Banking experience and/or Private Equity, Big4 Transaction Services, and Strategic Consulting
  • Experience in Investment Banking is a pre-requisite, as well as:
  • Demonstrated leadership skills and a team player approach with a strong motivation to contribute to a positive team culture
  • Top performance with comfort operating in an unstructured environment which values initiative, creativity, maturity, and poise
  • Strong client and presentation skills
  • Strong quantitative background and analytical skills coupled with meticulous attention to detail
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to manage a variety of transactions and projects simultaneously
