Investment Banking Summer Analyst Program 

The 9-week summer analyst program begins with a weeklong classroom training that teaches the fundamentals of banking, with a specific focus on modeling and relevant analytical techniques. Learning and development takes place throughout the summer through apprenticeship, structured learning sessions from group leaders, and formal on-going performance feedback. 

Corporate Strategy Investment Banking Summer Analysts will become integral members of the Corporate Strategy group, a highly selective team dedicated to analyzing and executing firm-wide strategic initiatives and conducting M&A for Lazard globally. Depending on the project or initiative, day-to-day responsibilities of the analysts include sourcing and executing acquisitions to expand Lazard’s business, financial analysis and modeling, company and industry research and interacting with senior management to assist in strategic decision-making. 

Qualifications 

Candidates should be class of 2025 and top academic performers who are willing to work hard in an unstructured environment that values initiative, creativity, maturity and enthusiasm for learning. Academic backgrounds may vary, but candidates must be comfortable with financial concepts and enjoy quantitative work.
