The Lazard Asset Management Marketing team is responsible for developing and delivering strategic marketing campaigns, across all client touch points, globally.  We are seeking a design intern to contribute to the creative discipline for Lazard Asset Management. This includes contributing to design direction, our visual identity, and delivering on our brand strategy.

 

The design intern will be part of a diverse and talented team. They will be able to partner with team members to deliver on the firm’s key business objectives to drive commercial success. They will gain exposure to asset management creative responsibilities.

 

We’ll trust you to:

  • Develop creative design solutions to complex narratives, with a digital-first mindset
  • Contribute to the strategy and execution across all priority projects, such as our rebrand and global site redesign
  • Collaborate with Channel Marketing, Editorial and Digital teams to produce best-in-class experiences for our clients
  • Be dedicated to operational excellence through process, workflow and design system thinking with global scale in mind
  • Understand the scope and business reasons for projects and translate business needs to design requirements
  • Advance brand standards and contribute to internal operational alignment

 

You’ll need to have:

  • The pursuit of an undergraduate/graduate degree in graphic design
  • Ability to design for digital formats including web, social media, display advertising and a working understanding of UX design
  • Advanced knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite (including InDesign, Photoshop, and Illustrator), Figma and Canva, with a curiosity for new technologies
  • Ability to produce high quality work quickly, thoughtfully, and accurately
  • Strong verbal communications skills and comfort engaging all levels of the organization
  • Creative problem-solving abilities and solutions-oriented style
  • Executional excellence, reliable judgement and the ability to prioritize
  • Familiarity in the development of brand principles and guidelines
  • Strong portfolio that reflects work in a professional or academic setting
