Lazard’s Middle Market Advisory group, a subsidiary of Lazard Ltd (NYSE: LAZ), is a leading middle market investment bank that provides customized advice on mergers and acquisitions, debt and equity recapitalizations, and financial restructurings to mid-sized companies across a broad range of industries with professionals in Charlotte, Chicago, Houston, Minneapolis, and New York.

 

Investment Banking Summer Analyst Program

Over the 10-week program, you will receive an excellent introduction to the full-time Analyst role while working on a variety of meaningful and complex transactions for a premier brand across a broad range of industries.

Additionally, you will receive both formal and informal mentorship as well as significant exposure to our senior leadership, be part of an authentic and inclusive culture and participate in a variety of social, networking, and philanthropic events throughout the summer.

As an intern, you will be staffed on live deals and pitches. Your day-to-day responsibilities may include:

  • Company and industry research
  • Financial analysis, valuation, and modeling  
  • Participation in live transaction activity
  • Preparation of marketing materials and client presentations
  • Direct interaction with clients

 

Qualifications

  • Currently enrolled at a 4-year undergraduate institution in the U.S. with a strong interest in finance
  • Graduation date of December 2023 or Spring 2024 is required
  • Candidates must be outstanding academic performers (3.4 GPA or higher on a 4.0 scale)
  • Concentrations in accounting, finance, or economics preferred but not required
  • Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without the need for employer sponsorship, now or at any time in the future
