2022 Financial Advisory - Chicago Midwest Advisory Summer Analyst Program

Summer Analysts will become integral members of the Midwest Advisory Investment Banking Group, joining a small team, which provides financial advisory services with a focus on relationship management to the firm's clients. In addition, our summer analysts participate in an on-going training program. Day-to-day responsibilities could company and industry research, participating in the development of client presentations and interacting with senior bankers and clients. The focus of the Midwest Advisory is business development, relationship management and strategic client development with execution primarily handled by external industry groups of Lazard. Assignments are focused on enhancing relationships with clients by providing financial advice on a range of categories, including M&A, divestitures, general and strategic advisory, restructuring and capital markets.

Qualifications

Candidates should be university students in their penultimate year and top academic performers who are willing to work in an unstructured environment, which values initiative, creativity, maturity, and enthusiasm for learning. Academic backgrounds may vary (no background in finance or accounting is required), however candidates must be comfortable with basic financial concepts and enjoy quantitative work.
